In this article you will learn about common dog training myths to ignore. Mahatma Gandhi once said that "the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be measured by how its animals are treated".
Myth # 1: A spiked collar is needed to train "tough" dogs. The ends of the collar of the plug are stuck in the neck of your poor dog when the strap shakes. Most people do NOT have to discipline their dogs so aggressively! Only professionals with experience in dog training should wear a dental collar, not the average dog owner. Professional trainers know which situations require this.
Myth # 2 : You need a collar to train your dog. Asphyxiation cuffs should only be used by persons experienced in starting, if used. Suffocating necklaces do exactly what they say: they interrupt your dog's airflow! Of course this poses a health risk and can severely damage the dog's esophagus!
Myth # 3 : Control your dog with physical strength (hitting, hitting and choking). Your dog should see you and other family members as "pack leaders". This respect is well deserved and will not be achieved by hitting your dog! In the wild, a pack leader does not overreact and does not defeat members of his pack to submit.
Of course you can beat a dog in obedience. You can beat him, yell at him and shock you, forcing him to obey your orders, but the abuse does not deserve your dog's respect. However, your dog is afraid of you and suffers from a painful life! The dog will not love you ... and you will NOT have won your unwavering loyalty. Your dog will be scared of you, shrinking from submission and crawling every time you move towards him, and you will always be looking for a way to escape your company.
THAT is the kind of relationship you want with your dog? Of course not ...
Myth # 4 : You need an electronic shock collar to prevent the barking of your dog. No one should imagine that this modern amenity is the most humane way and is not really necessary. It's EASY to stop the barking of a dog without taking such inhumane action!
Studies show that shock collars only work in a small percentage of dogs and teach them to fear the collar! The use of necklaces causes tremendous stress and not unlikely serious damage to your dog's immune system!
Claim # 5: Stopping your dog is not bad, so he sees you as a tough person. Screaming brings little in humans, less in dogs who do not speak their language. A dog hears screams like wild barking, suggesting that something is wrong! Good trainers easily control your dog with a whisper, body language and hand signals. Do not throw plastic bottles with stones at the dog, put them in the bag, isolate the dog from the family and other terrible acts directed against dogs in the name of discipline and training.
You want your dog to love you ... do not be afraid!
You may be wondering why so many dog handlers insist that you punish your dog for training if the negative reinforcement does not work? So many coaches, so-called "professionals", make money!
These are trainers who harass dogs and force them to do what they want (William Koehler Trainer). Currently, they consider the old-school coaches to be friendly, cruel and abusive. The problem with pulling and flexing sneakers is that dogs rarely like their guardianship and in fact are often afraid of them. Their training leads to inconsistent results in dogs who dislike or respect their owners. If you do not have a good relationship with your dog, or if your dog does not respect you as a pack leader, you will never be able to get consistent training.
A modern, compassionate "dog-free dog training" aims to teach you how to train your dog in a timely manner with simple voice commands, hand signals and positive reinforcement. This type of exercise program delivers FAST results because your dog really has fun!
This is a training method that can finish your dog's LAST habits in just 6 days ... without putting your finger on your dog!
Problems like:
1. Always go to your favorite carpet or your favorite sofa
2. Bark through your window like crazy people and cars
3. I moaned you for "invading" your favorite sofa
4. Jump on you, your family and your friends
5. Play too hard with your kids
6. refuses to "come on call"
7. Ignore basic commands like sit down
8. Try to dig or chew to leave your garden
9. Constantly ask for food at the kitchen table
You can teach him to use his dog's natural instincts and manipulate his behavior. And the best news is that you only need to work 5 to 10 minutes a day. Only 6 days after launching this program, you will be able to deal with the most annoying and destructive habits of your dog. Better yet, it only takes 5 to 10 minutes of exercise a day!
